ecu code 80 need help?
I just check my ecu and throwing a code 80 I think it is "Exaust Gas Recirculation Insufficient Flow" What exactly is this and how do I fix it? Thanks in an advance
I'm confused hold on. When I checked the ecu it gave 8 long flashes and paused and kept on giving me 8 long flashes, is that a code 80 or a code 8?

It is probably code 80 ... I just had it myself, you can try resetting your ECU to see if it goes away. Mine went on when I was up in Flagstaff, higher elevation, it was colder out, and my VAFC probably had something to do with it. When I got home, after finding out what the code was, I reset my ECU and the check engine light has not come back on in two weeks. You could always go to Autozone and they can read your code for free. BTW I have the same car ..
by reseting it, you mean to disconect the negative pole of the battery? and what mods do you have in your car to be doing high 15's the 1/4 mile?
Hey I reseted the ecu yesterday it went away for the whole day and then it came back on this mourning.... What do I do to fix this thing?

Exhaust Gas Recirculation. If it's a 5th gen there is a plate on top of the intake manifold behind the injectors. Just take it off and clean out all the carbon. Make sure to clean out the holes in the intake.
