Hi guys i have a 97 civic hatch auto with a y7 engine.

This morning i started my car spedo was acting like a tachometer and idle was really high (id guess around 1800 i dont have a tach). I cleaned aicv, cleaned the grounds , and changed vss. Another weird thing was that i used my blinker and the d4 icon on dash started blinking and trans is having problems shifting like it searches through gears . I hot a big pot hole the night before could it all be related ?
Could it be a short ?

Pull the CEL codes and check whether fuse 15 is blown.

Check the cluster ground which is behind the cluster. Also inspect the wires on the back of the engine, where they go through the intake manifold bracket and over to the alternator and speed sensor, etc. This is easiest from underneath the car.

I pulled 8 codes including the p1298 code which is eld from what I have read do you guys think it could be the root of all the other codes? I will check the bundle behind the intake mani

The other codes p0108 map high voltage
P0113 a it high input
P0501 vehicle speed sensors
Po135 and p0141 o2 sensor 1 and 2 malfunction
P0700 trans control malfunction
P0720 output speed sensor circuit malfunction
