Default Help w/drivers side window, won't roll up or down

Window is in the rails. I've replaced the switch and the motor. Worked for a while then stopped working again. I've checked the motor and switch and both are good. All fuses are good too.

The only other thing I can think of is that there is actually a broken wire somewhere. Anyone aware of any similar problems? I don't want to redo wiring if I don't have to.

Any other suggestions would be great.

No ideas huh?

To make it even more confusing, I took the door off to check some of the wires for voltage. I stuck the probe from my voltmeter right into one of the wires (through the insulation) to test it, and the window started working. But it's back to not working again.

Bad ground maybe? An exposed wire somewhere messing things up?

Any suggestions would be great.
