97 civic - power windows don't work
Basically i switched out my defective door from my 1997 Honda civic ex for a door from a 2000 ex civic...everything was pretty simple.plugged in easy harness fit all the plugs etc
The problem here is that both windows that were working prior to.the switch just don't work they are unresponsive. I've tested both elevators and they work fine...the power locks get current but i have no current to the master switch on the drivers side...could it be the switch even though it was working fine

Re: 1997 Honda civic electrical problem
What do you mean "defective door"? Are you saying that you couldn't figure out the electrical issues with the door so you replaced it with another one? If the REGULATORS are fine but the door locks don't work, check the door jamb wire plug. Make sure the prongs aren't bent/rusted.

The Defective door had an unrelated issue, when it was switched, prior to the door switch all windows worked perfectly. What can it be? Driving me crazzyy I think im gonna remove the door and check the prongs like you said
