Ok so I got a 94 coupe with a 5 speed d15b..

I just got the car last Sunday and hadn't had a problem with it until tonight.

I got off school @ 10 pm, turned on my. Car, and since my stereo doesn't work I put on my headphones and turned on my ipod..

I waited like 30 seconds which I know is not right but I was tired so I took off...everything was fine, I drove about 5 miles to the freeway..when I got on I srarted stepping on the pedal and shifting @ high RPMs

When I got off the freeway I pushed in the clutch to put it into neutral and noticed that my car was idling and not to low rpms but up to the 4 and 5 thousand so anyways I somehow made it home, when I got home I noticed that when I. Try to pull out my gas pedal it doesn't idle, its like the pedal is kinda stuck in....anyone ever had a problem like this??

i've had that problem with my gsr in my eg. when i floor it the pedal gets stuck. i just pull it out with the tip of my shoe.. its the throttle cable at the throttle body. needs to be tightened

Could be a bad throttle cable or a dirty throttle body.

So I woke up early today (6 am) even tho I don't go into work till 9 to check out my car, I checked the throttle cable like u guys said and it wasn't loose or dirty but I did notice a small ring like object around the cable, sorta looked like a little nut, maybe like 5/8 or something....but wat I'm guessing is that when I stepped on the pedal that nut got stuck causing my cable to stay open....

I got sat and sun off so ima take more time to check out wats wrong..
