New Swap..Idling Problem! please help!!!
I've Searched around trying to look for a solution but nothing helped.
I just recently swapped a 94 ls motor into my 96 civic coupe. started it up and the idle would go up to 2k for a few seocnds then drops to 1500 and bounces up and down. when the car warms up it bounces from 1000-1500 back and fourth.
i cleaned the iacv, cleaned the fitv and screwed in the white thing, and bled my coolant system..so im stuck...
i have a question also...when i cover the top hold in the throttle body(b4 the butterfly) it will idle fine..but when i let go it will go back to what it was doing.
that top hole should lead to my iacv rite? and is that hole suppose to be sucking air all the time?
anything helpful will be appreciated. finally got my car running after a year sitting in the garage and now im stuck with this idling problem!
some one help me out! i wanna drive my car again!

I can make a guess that theres an air bubble in your cooling system. Try unscrewing the air bleed bolt on the engine block, then refill the system. I have had a similar issue and thats how I fixed it. I tried everything with wiring sensors, the IACV... everything. However my problem was having air in the cooling system.

The air bleed bolt is generally by the oil filter on d series and on the front bottom of a b series.
