This has all been covered before. Bump up your old thread rather than start a new thread about the same problem.
When your hand is on the freakin' starter and you call it "that thing down there", it shows you really don't know enough about cars to hope to solve this.
Your old thread was at least mildly entertaining in the constantly changing backstory of the car.

Re: HELP MY CIVIC WONT CRANK OR START
Can you do one thing for me, just to see if the starter will turn over get a wire ( bigger than speaker wire) take that wire touch the single connector on your starter an touch pos side of battery, yes it will spark an maybe scare the **** out of you but just seeing if starter is still good. Then we can go from there. Also if you would like to text me I can give u my # instead of back an forth here.

Re: HELP MY CIVIC WONT CRANK OR START
ok I traced it and it connects to the starter but that's weird because there shouldn't be that many wires coming from one starter connection and there are no wires or sockets they can connect to.

Re: HELP MY CIVIC WONT CRANK OR START
the wires are circled
the ring wires and the blue wires come from the starter, the black wire used to have a ring but it broke a while ago, it comes from that black box on the firewall

Re: HELP MY CIVIC WONT CRANK OR START
Those blue wires seem to be part of some previous owner's third party anti-theft system, which is never going to work again since you don't know what it was and don't have all the pieces.
So remove it.
Find the factory wire in the starter area that is black with a white stripe. It is probably spliced to one of the blue wires now. Disconnect that and instead connect it directly to the small terminal on the starter. Cut all of those extra blue wires out and remove them from the car.
