im about to buy a header and im undecided as to which to get... a 4-1 or a 4-2-1
they both are nice..
i think im leaning towards 4-1..
i guess what im askin is ... is there anyone out there who has tried both and which one was more "fun"!

i believe the 4-2-1 has better top end, im not so sure about that though, im a newb

4-1 pulls from 4 to redline
421 has lower rpm power

someone has to be able to tell me what they are like... ive never expereince one before..
just want to make sure before i drop the dough hehe

Honda's basically use there power in the high rpm range, that is there good power band. So a 4-1 header would be a good choice my friend

there are a lot of factors in deciding what you should get, 4-1 will give you better top end but sacrificing lower and middle a bit. if your lowered, 4-1's also tend to hang a lot lower and will scrape more often. Here's a couple good sites for you to look at.

I bought a DC sports 4-1 about a month ago, and out all of the parts I have put on my car (98' ex) I have felt the most power gains, my third gear pulls like crazy now.

im not lowered.. not sure if i want to be either... i have apexi ws and its low enough as is..... lol
i have a cai.. im giong to get a zex 53900 after header...
Its a d16z
and eventually i plan on up my piston compression
so that will raise my lower power band right?
well itll up the whole damn thing
