Gsr swap to Ek wiring...
Motor JDM GSR OBD2
Chasis 97 Civic Hatch
Engine Harness: using stock engine harness from d16y7 or hatch
I think my fuel injector plugs for the sensors are not in the right position.. u might say, that it only fits the fuel injectors only one way right? because there are 4 fuel injector plugs and 1 is longer than the other while 1 is shorter and so on. Heres the position from left to right.. left (1) being from dizzy and right (4) being to camgears.. this is how I plugged it in for the gsr injectors
Civic harness (used right now for jdm gsr swap)
injectors- 1 2 3 4
wire color- brown red blue yellow
JDM Gsr harness (how it came like with the motor)
injectors- 1 2 3 4
wire color- yellow blue red brown
Those are the wire colors for the injector plugs.. yellow/black stripes is on all of them being negative..
I believe I have it on backwards but then again it only fits one way right? also the injector wires comes from under the manifold and out the right side like its suppose to.. if I wanted the position to be the same as the gsr then I would have to go from left to right.. what should I do??

i think thats prolly how its supposed to be, since its a JDM GSR (Sir-G) the integra was most likely right hand drive, which is prabably why its backwards.... not sure though

yeah I was thinking the same... hope nothing happens to my motor in the long run.. does it matter which way it should be?? which one is injector 1?? is that the one next to the cam gears? or the one next to the distributor?

Re: Gsr swap to Ek wiring... ('96typeR)
wait... its from the dizzy??? and you didnt do anything to the single cam or modified it in anyway????? man.. what should I do.. hrmm.. I wanted the swap to look clean so I pulled the fuel injector wires from under the manifold and comes out from the right to left (from cam gears instead of dizzy).. I think Im gonna go from left to right instead of right to left.. hope its right..

just try it, if it runs then its fine.... if it sounds like a subaru then just switch them around?? nothing bad will happen to your motor, it just wont run correctly n then switch them around until its normal......... good luck!!

Re: Gsr swap to Ek wiring... ('96typeR)
I had it right the first time when I did the swap.. then I took off the whole engine harness like 5 days ago and rewired everything to make it look clean.. and figured that its suppose to go from under the manifold and out from the right of it to the fuel injectors.. I ran the car and it sounds fine but I just hope nothing happens in the long run..
