gsr harness....help me identify
ok doing a swap for a friend(obd1 gsr into eg civic ex)
On the passanger shock tower harness connectors there is usually 3, well on this harness there is 4.

The one that im refering to is the longer one..what is it for?
close up

the wires are: yellow/black and the other red.
I was thinking it was the iab's wire, but the other one is not pink/blue...
And being so, the civic harness going from the tower to the car has all the spots full but the bottom left one:

This pic is from the gsr harness and that wire is red/blue, wich im pretty sure its the KS.
so where are the iab wires?and what is that 2 pin connector for?
The civic is cdm if it helps, wich i heard are already wired for everything but the iab's...but i dunno..
HELP

The extra plug wires you were reffering to are for the evap purge solenoid wires, the yellow wire should be power when ignition is on. I believe the iab wires are on the driver side, but not much people agree with me, i believe its there because theres a pink/blue wire on that side, and it also states it in the helms manual. Look under https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=539506
just hook everything up and then check for continuity on the wires in question. even if that is an odb2 teg harness it will still plug in and work perfectly.
Well, got it figured out, tested continuity and pics above that i didnt know what they where, is for the evap(both wires) on the gsr harness.
The iab wire that goes to the ecu is on the drivers side tower connector, the 1st one on the 14 pin connector.
the Iab's are actually wired already on the civic harness, but its used on the stock civic as the evap wiring
So you have to change a20 to a17 and be done with the iab's
If you want the evap you have to getr the male connector and wire them from that extra plug on the gsr harness.
I'll take pics later
