Grinding in second and 3rd .......
allright fellaz, anybody ever had a problem with shifting from 1st to 2nd gear and all you hear is your gears grinding?? I just bought the car (93 Si) recently so i wouldnt know how new the clutch is either. But from my experience, when your clutch goes out, it shouldnt grind like that. So im thinking it may be my tranny. Any idea compadres?? Ohh and if i redline it on second and switch to 3rd, it grinds too. Sucks hearing that ugly sound. feels like im breaking something every time.
What if i swap out the tranny? What tranny options will i have available for the z6 motor?

It really sounds like your sycnros man - like he said above try to double clutch, at different speeds pushing the clutch to the floor all the way - it would be best to rebuild it anyway this problem gets worse b4 better.
