usually if you go where the fuses are there is a panel that will tell you what all the fuses are. is that piece missing?

Check your ground for your stereo. Did you put an inline fuse between the battery and your amp/ distribution block?

okay i guess you put in a cd player or some type of head unit. there is a 2 wires back behind it. one is a illumination wire the other is a dimmer wire. one of those wires are proboly grounded which cause your fuses to keep blowing. plus your dash lights and other interior lights are wired into or though these wires also. so check that and you should tape up ANY bare wires. after that you should be good to go.

most any new stereos have a fuse built into the back of them. plus the fuse in the fuse box is protection enough. the fuse between a amp and your battery is just protection for your car. those fuses on the side of the amp are what protects your amp from a overload.
