so her's what your telling me. you installed a deck, your lights were working fine prior, after install now they dont. Just because yoou use a fuse tester doesnt mean that the fuse cant be bad....I recomend disconnecting your deck and getting it tested, also see if your lights work after the deck is unistalled..it sounds like something is grounding out causing you to nblow fuses! or what I deduced? but hey it is your car...do you have a amp? sub?

I'm having the same problem and I was told by many people that the driver's side multiplex control was defective but I went to the dealership and they said there wasn't a recall even though there was. Your best bet it to either order one through the dealership which would cost 115.00 or go to junk yard and get one out of a 98-02 accord for probably 35 to 50 bucks. If anyone has any other ideas let us know.

small lights fuse most likely, it's under the hood

or you still have a short in the wiring somewhere where you installed your deck

It was a recall in 2000 because there is a short in the multiplex control so when you turn your headlights on, it kills all of the dash lights. Basically, I am going to a junk yard, purchase one, and see if this will solve the problem because HONDA wouldn't replace it for free.

If the recall was for the 2000 model year and yours is a 2001, why would they replace it for free, and do you even know if the "multiplex control" is the problem.
Do your dash lights turn on when you turn on just the park lights, but turn off if you turn on the head lights?.

But I guess you will find out, assuming the one you get from the bone yard is working and it was the problem. 94
