Fuel Pump Problem

Fuel Pump Problem
Ok,
Well I had the fuel pump running in perfect condition. I was working on wiring in a resistor box for my dsm injectors when one of the wires sparked and I heard the fuel pump start to prime. So I was like wth. Look in my car and my keys were one click over. So im wondering why it primed. I take the key out and put it back in and turn it to when the fuel pump will usually prime and it didnt prime. So my question i why did this happen. My fuel pump not working now? I checked the fuse it isnt blown, any help would be appreciated.
