Flywheel and clutch not spinning freely
hi so im new to this site, so just let me know if im doin anything wrong. I put my swap in and when i tried to start it there was a rapid ticking and i saw realized the battery was not powerful enough. So i jumped it and the starter wants to spin but its like sumthn in the trans is keepin it from turnin everything. Plus the clutch fork is popped out and i can move the fork up and down. Do i need to take the trans back off?

Re: Flywheel and clutch not spinning freely
You don't need to take the tranny back off.
It sounds like you're having an issue with your slave cylinder.
If the clutch fork popped out, put it back where it's supposed to go.
Check your slave cylinder if you shift fork is acting funky [ ;
^Welcome for corrections guys...
Let us know how you make out bro hope everything works out.

Re: Flywheel and clutch not spinning freely
i have a stage 1 clutch with a heavy duty pressure plate. i dont have the slave on cause i was just tryna see if the motor will turn over. When i turn the key the motor like thumps once like if the teeth from the starter and fly wheel lock in but cant really spin to turn the crank. So the slave isnt connected.

pull the tanny away from the motor just a little, and try to spin the motor manually if it spins then it is most likely the pressure plate is touching the transmission once the tranny if bolted up. I ran in to the same problem
