Default EM1: Car died twice? Bad ground the problem

When i repainted my valve cover, i didn't sand down the VC ground but i did hook it back up (paint on ground). My car has died 2 times in the last few days since then. Could this be the problem or just the coincidence.

not trying to be an ***, but what's the point to this post?
why not fix the problem you yourself said you KNOW you have, then if the problem persists you ask a question with better detail?

It's coincidence. Don't bother to check it. I know it's a pain in the *** and takes about a week to do. You haven't done anything else to your car (that you've stated anyway) other than painting the valve cover, your car dies two times in the past few days...and well...'coincidence' and not 'cause' is the first thing that would come to my mind too, when considering the valve cover as the culprit.

all of my ground problems I've had were related to the ground going from the battery to body. Turned out the bolt holding the ground to the body was rusted/stripped. Check that ground.
