EK Shut Off, Wont Start
So today sitting at a light my 98' EK shut off randomly at a light, it restarted for a second then died again. Now it wont start again at all, it cranks (so i assume the starter is OK), it sparks (stuck a screw driver in the wire and held near block, saw spark on all 4 wires), no blown fuses under hood or under dash. I pulled the send line from the fuel filter and cranked it, didn't get any gas (not sure if maybe i should have pulled it at the rail instead but figured it made no difference).
I live in the city and its to loud to tell if i can hear the fuel pump, least not till late at night. It would seem that im not getting fuel but im not fully sure if my check method was correct. A similar thing happened awhile ago and it was the dizzy (but it sparked, not very strong, but it sparked when i checked).
Anyone have any ideas, or anything else to check???

main fuel relay would be my best guess. it shows no signs and just goes out without a warning. happened to me and my sister both.

its got a half tank of gas, and the battery tested at the correct voltage. I also checked the battery ground and the engine grounds.
where is the main fuel relay located?

Re: EK Shut Off, Wont Start
so from looking over the service manual, i see a main relay under the drivers dash and a pgmfi relay under the passenger's dash. I know i can get to the main relay pretty simply. Is it hard to get to the pgmfi relay does anyone know? seems like if i remove the glovebox i should be able to reach it

Re: EK Shut Off, Wont Start
So i checked every fuse again to be sure, none blown. i removed the drivers kick panel and hunted around for the relay. i moved some wires around, tugged on some grounds. tried to start it and it started up. turned it off, tried again, and it started again. seems like a loose sire somewhere at the fuse box, or a ground. im going to investigate further later
thanks for all the help everyone

the 2 main power wires at the fuse box can seem tight but could be loose.
if thats the case put a better bolt in them and a smaller washer to get rid of the gap.
nice job

FYI, the MR is on the passenger side behind the glove box on the right(sitting at the passenger seat).
If you move wires around and it works then also check your ignition hardness for sometimes due to age the contacts do go bad.
