An eg won't start, HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My friend's car, 95 civic hatch, isn't getting any juice, but everything checked is making power starter, fuses in the fuse box, battery (new everlast). THe only thing that works is the hazards and the brake lights. the car can't even be jumped, are their any experts out there to help a buddy out.

is there spark? is there fuel (do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key to the on position)? did you check the main relay?

yeah try roll start (=bump start?). if it starts it's not electrical problem. last time, my car didn't start and found out timing belt got broke.

as in nothing is happening and the only thing that is working is the brake lights, horn, and hazards, but everything else is nothing. I have checked everything all the grounds and they all coming out with 12 volts, wondering what i can do to get the car to at least get the headlights, and interior lights to come on. I turned the key and nothing happens.

double check your main relay again, that would cause you not to have spark and fuel, and its a common problem

double checked the main relay and it is good, i'm just baffled, there is power everywhere just nothing is happening. I think that the problem is lying somewhere in the ignition system, does any body know common or extreme things that can be wrong in that area.

Re: (3.8turbo)
the ecu has power, my friend called his dad(big bad engineer man) and he came out and jumped it at the wires or something like that and replaced a wire or two, and some fuses. he tried explaing it to my friend who isn't very minded bout cars, which was probably the reason he brought the car to me first. so i don't know actually what was wrong, but i will talk to his dad sometime soon to find out what cause i was just baffled. Thanks for all the help you guys have given me in trying to figure out the problem, i will post what was wrong really when i talked to his father.
