EG EX/Si Guage Cluster Prob.
I bought one from the junk yard a month back and finally put it in. Today i was driving and my car shut off. turns out i was out of gas. the damn fuel guage/needle doesnt work properly. how do i fix this without buying a new one?
(I filled up the car immedietly and the guage worked ?)is it because it still had the gas reading from the previous car or is it fucked up?

I wouldn't expect an Immeadiate answer within 15 minutes Hoss. Expecially on a mid-level tech question.
To meit sounds like something is unplugged. Check some sensors and make sure the new cluster is plugged in securely.

Be patient dude. Someone will come along and get it right. If you think about it, the majority of the users are going to bed right now. It might have to wait until the morning.

You filled gas after you ran out of it, and the gas gauge went to full? Sounds like it is working properly. However, when you first picked up the gauge, it will have the gas reading of the car it came out of. But as soon as you plugged it into your car, it should have gone to the level of gas that's in your car.
If indeed the gas gauge is broken, that part from Honda is really inexpensive.
