Default Dropping motor, motor wont line up!

I can't get this ******* motor to line up. it's gsr into a ek. i already have the tranny side bolted up but cant get the rear in so i can do that and the driver side. At first i lined up the rear, put the bolt trough that but then I couldn't get anything else to line up. Oh and im doing it from the bottom...

Using 99-00 si rear tranny bracket and driver side bracket. stock civc passenger side tranny bracket all with Innovative mounts.

Always do rear first, so much easier. If nothing is lining up when the rear is in then you have the wrong rear bracket.

I think you are surpose to use you stock driver side and passenger side mount. Use the driver side mount with the mount that attach to your block too.

It also helps quite a bit if you don't have your mounts bolted down to the engine or transmission yet so they have some give when you're bolting to the chassis. Have all the bolts started and then tighten them down.

It also helps if you don't have Down's Syndrome, but I guess that's something you can't help, now is it?

if you have the 99-00 SI rear t bracket then you have the right one.. you also need the 99-00 SI mount that bolts to the car. as far as the mount that bolts to the block, there is one that has the 2 threaded spikes directly in-line, and one that has the 2 threaded spikes offset. you need the one that matches the 99-00 SI mount.. i cant remember which one it is off the top of my head..

If I understand what you're referring to, the mount with the "offset spikes" are from the GSR/ITR I believe. The mount with "inline spikes" are everything else B series.

i did a b16 swap in my ek and i bought hasport motor mounts, it is the aftermarket mounts that makes the engine harder to install...so you will just have to work with it...just as long as you have the 99-00 si rear bracket then you are fine...nothing else special needed...gl on the swap
