DIY Remote Starter Help
hey guys
ive got this remote starter for my car (well my gf bought it for me for xmas).. and im looking for some wiring diagrams
heres the starter: http://206.47.191.115/assembly...ement
i got a 93 civic si hatch.. obviously 12V, ground and 12v ignition arent a problem (although a 12V ignition from somewhere besides the audio console would be better)..
when it comes to wiring anythign besides a stereo im a n00b
this would be my first starter install and id really prefer to learn it by doing it myself rather then someone else installing it for me... (and especially paying someone a couple hundred when all it is is tapping into pre existing wires heh)
so if anyone has a wire pinout of various points where i could tap into for this starter.. thatd be great...

Re: DIY Remote Starter Help (Morning Call)
This isnt a task that should be taken on by an unexperienced person. But if you wanna tackled it, here what i did (I got a viper alarm/remote start).
1. Removed the plastic steering column, or whatever its called.
2. Removed all plastic covers under the steering wheel to access wiring.
3. Installed my hood switch.
4. Soldered the wires (ignition, power, acc) to the main point under the steering column. You will see what im talking about, its the factory soldering point.)
5. Ran my antenna for the remote.
6. Placed my shock sensor under the kickpanel.
7. Ran my siren under the hood on the firewall away from water.
8. Removed my gauge cluster and tapped my tach signal.
9. Tapped my parking lights (for the blinking)
Im sure i left alot out, but this is all i remember. Im an experienced solderer and have good installation skills, but this still took me around 5-6 hours with help from a friend. So be sure to leave lots of time.
For your wiring schematics, i'd recommend buying a shop manual for your car. It'll come in handy later as well.
