Distrubutor obd2-obd1
I was looking for diagrams for my obd2 -obd1 situation when i realized that im not exactly sure what the hell im looking at. Im a musician who just bought a honda to drive and then the motor broke and no one knows how to rewire the dist. I need to rewire my distrubutor myself but can anyone offer some assitence or a how to crash course for beginners? Would cross referencing diagrams from a 96 to 92 be the best bet? i keep on trying to look for them on honda tech but my computer keeps freezing

so your distributor should be a obd2. now, help me understand, why are you trying to wire it up? there should still be harness there, right? just hook up the harness that belong to each other. their not all the same harness, each are different.

is this a new motor your have put into your car, or just the dist. if it's a whole new motor, there's more to the wire than just the dist. (please bear with me, i'm trying to help the best i can). now when you say motor broke you mean you replaced the old motor with this obd2 motor or your repaired the obd2 motor that was already in the car?

sorry i really should have been more in depth. My old motor the 94 that came with the car was really fucked up. Clogged radiator, broken head gasket and was leaking oil from god knows where. So since it already had 185k on it, i bought a 99 sohc to replace it. its already in the car, the ecu is already rewired from auto to manual, its just the distributor that needs rewiring

if all you did was replace the engine, then all you could have done was change the engine harness and fuel injectors from the old motor to the new motor and problem sovled.
