I am not entire sure what the problem is, its stranded about 20 minutes from my house. It bogged REAL bad, then shut off. Wouldnt start again. Opened the hood, the #4 plug wire had popped off the distributor. Put it back on, still nothing.

Re: (ImportRacr05)
If one of your wires popped off it very well may have screwed up the coil. I've removed one of the plug wires while the engine was running (sounded like it was missing) car died and took the coil along with it... test and probably replace coil...

Re: Distributor Help!!!!! (ImportRacr05)
im like 99.9% sure that your coil went bad... mine went bad in the biggest rain storm of the year about 15 mins from my house.. sucked. go check your coil out and find a autozone nearby and by it.. if it dont worrk take it back. but im sure thats it.

Basically only the mounts on the distributor housing is different, you can swap all the internals between dizzies. Like if you wanted to convert an OBD1 GSR to OBD2 and you had an OBD2 LS dizzy laying around you can just pull all the stuff out and stick it into the GSR housing.
