Default difference between a ceramic and stainless header

Hello

Is there any difference in performance between a ceramic and a stainless header?
thanks

Yes, the material.

A ceramic coated header will be more of a mild steel with the ceramic coating.

The stainless steel is just that.

The ceramic coated one is always cheaper since the mild steel is so much cheaper.

Something else to think about is the heat handling characteristics of the header.
A SS header would pull as much heat away from the head as possible, but create more heat under the hood. But a ceramic would keep the heat inside the header and keep the under hood temps cooler, but not carry as much heat as the SS version.

of course the looks and exactly like Marauder said.

But, is more resistant? it gives more power? what´s the big advantage, if there is any big advantage.
I wanna buy the dc sports 4-1, but i dont no if the price of the stainless compensates.

Stainless is mostly for durability and looks. I doubt there is a measureable performance difference.

get the ceramic cuz the stainless changes color when it gets hot.
