Stainless steel conducts heat alot better, which means it will get hotter. The idea behind ceramic coating is that ceramic doesn't conduct heat very well.

Stainless Steel is actually a very POOR Conductor of Heat and thus keeping heat in the tubes which keeps exhaust gases hotter for longer. This is why stainless is preffered over steel or steel/coated.

Its not smart to heat wrap a ceramic header but its all good to wrap a stailess, although you loose the bling.

cc is lighter, cheaper, and dosnt rust as fast,if you wrap a cc header it looks cool too

stainless is heavy, expensive, and rusts very fast(unless you dont drive your car) plus if you wrap it it will decay 3 times as fast as a cc header

what the hell? i know alot of people who have had cc headers for years and none of the cc has ever come off...they get dirty but you can always clean them and if they get rusty or turn brown you can always have them coated again for cheap plus if you wrap a cc header it stays alot cooler outside then a wrapped ss header i know from a personal test me and a buddy did
