del Sol climate control help
Does anyone know how to remove the climate control on a 93 del Sol? I've got a bulb that went out or a loose connection that I need to fix. Thanks.

Ok, here's the Helms' version....
1. Remove console (center console presumably)
2. Remove radio
3. Disconnect air mix control cable from heater (see below)
4. Remove self-tapping screw (located in the top of the radio slot, access this from inside the radio slot), disconnect electrical connectors, and remove panel
Note, locking tabs are on the bottoms of the connectors
The air mix control cable connects in a couple of places. First, the sleeve (cable outer housing) sits in a plastic stop housing on the rear left side of the panel. Then the "wire" cable slips into a hole in the temperature control lever (the flat metal part that attaches to the slider on the front panel).

Yeah, there are screws kinda under and behind it. I have an extra sol dash in my garage and and I stripped the climate controls off of it, they're really easy to get out...
