93 del sol climate control consol removal
how exatly do you rremove the climate control unit? is it al just clips and you pry it out? or you have to take the dash off

i would say that you have to pull the dash out a little, there has to be some clips/screws into the dash it self and into the frame I would think.

There is a screw back in the dash above the radio, it's a pain to get too. A stubby screw driver will own you.

do you have to take the radio out and its a screw going upwards... or do you really have to rip the dash out and hunt for them.

Ok i just did this so here is a quick how to
1. take out all the screws holding in the center consol don't forget the one in the little compartment behind the ebrake.
2. remove the shift **** and take the center part out of your car
3. now take out the screws holding in the radio and take it out
4. take out the one screw holding the climate control in
5. now if you look under your glovebox you will see a cable that comes from the climate control and goes down to adjust how hot or cold the air is take that off.
6. Start pulling out the climate control and then remove all the wires and it will come right out

what the hell?! even with a mini screw driver, i cannot get enough leverage to loosen it. was it this hard whe you guys took it off?
