d16zc swap-fan not working!
hi, im new to the forum so HI!, i swap my del sol that had a d15 with a d16zc, the swap was great, the motor starts, the ac works, everything, but the main fan (not the ac one) doesn't work, my car has gone above the half mark of temperature, and the fan doesn't start. I check the water pump from the d15 and it has a plug that the d16zc's water pump doesn't have, what can i do to check what is my problem? you help is greatly appreciated!

Is the fan switch plugged up?
The connector by the water pump you are referring to is probably the CFK sensor. I'm assuming your ZC has this on it, but you won't use this on your. Does it look something like this:

my water pump doesnt have that sensor, and yes the plugs are connected, and i dont remember that sensor your referring in the last picture :S but yes, i was reading some post in this forum that said to change the relay of the ac fan to the relay of the main fan, but i havent done that, and someone also post to check if the hoses have air in them, but i havent done that. this is the last thing i need to do to be able to use my car, one month has passed...

I'm confused, you do or don't have the sensor in the first picture? Its located on the thermostat housing. The ZC you are referring to is SOHC correct?

ok, your fan switch is now on the back of the block like the red circle in the pic. You'll have to wire it from that gray plug wiring in your first pic to the back of the block. Not sure but you may be able to swap thermostat housing from your old engine to this one.

I want to know if the temperature sensor of the d15's block can be place in the d16's block.
this is off this topic, but what is this then (d15 block)

Doesn't matter which wire goes on which terminal. The factory style is pictured below (orange looking plugs) but you might be able to use some butt connector style and put them on the prongs.

sorry i ask too much but im from puerto rico, and i undertood some things, but what do you mean by "butt connector"? and i assume that the prongs are the "metal sticks that go out from the block", right?
and sorry but thanks a lot! i will report back if i have other questions but thanks a lot!!
