D16z6 won't start please help!
The other day I was driving and the motor started to sputter. There was loss of power, sputtering and vibration. A buddy of mine told me that one of the spark plugs was mis-firing. So he told me to leave the car idling and remove one spark plug cable at a time to see which one was bad. I don't think it was a good idea because now it won't start. Cables and plugs are fine. I tried replacing the distributor but still no spark. Checked fuel pump and filter. Another friend of mine told me it could be the ECU. Can anyone help? I can't seem to figure this one out.

It could be fouled plugs, bad wires, bad coil, tps, the list goes on. With this kind of problem you just have to start with the cheap stuff first and work your way up. Process of elimination.

like that other guy said, check your grounds. The one you should really be checking is attached to your thermostat housing. Its your ECU main ground and will kill your car in the manner you described if it is loose/corroded. don't throw parts at your car until you are out of troubleshooting options (never).
