D16Z6 head or D16Y8 head

D16Z6 head or D16Y8 head
Ive heard that you can get a power gain from putting a z6 head on a Y8 block. I really dont know much sohc engines. could you tell me which head is better the Z6 or Y8

stock for stock the Z6 flows more air. but the y8 has a better combustion chamber and is less likly to detonate.
i don't see u makeing any differance switching to a d16z6 head on a y8 block. unless u used a thinner headgasket. i could be wronge tho.
the y8 intake manifold is much better than the z6.
and ive head people taking a part of the z6 headgasket out to raise compression. this info might help u but i would see no point in taking a d16y8 head off and putting a z6 head on.

I like the z6 head but its not worth it to swap heads and waste time and money just to probably gain a couple horse, if that.
