d16z6 w/ d16y8 head? dilema
I just bought a complete d16z6 longblock. I'm kinda torn between keeping the stock z6 head on the motor I just got, or using the y8 head that I have on my current mini me setup(d15b8)...(went z6 route b/c I plan on moderatly boosting)
the z6 is completley stock and the timing belt is quite worn
the y8 has all new belts, arp head studs, and aem adjustable camgear.
will the y8 head significantly boost compression, or will it be simpler with an obd1 z6 head, although I'd have to dish out more money on it? any thoughts/ideas appreciated

... you have on old stock z6 head, and a newer better y8 head.... doesn't sound like brain surgery to me....
