d16z6 cam and valvetrain upgrade. give me your opinon
so i am planning on puttting a cam in my d16z6. i am on a budget of about 5 or 600 dollars. tell me what you think of this setup.
-delta regrind cam something like a stage 2 cam or a little wilder.
-supertech valve springs and retainers.
-VISION Motorworks Adjustable Cam Gear & Gates Racing Timing Belt
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-95...item3a5573287c
this is the link to the cam gear. never heard of the brand but looks good and nice price.
my car now has a header
greddy sp2
whale ***** intake
apexi safc 2
aem fpr
anything else i should upgrade?
thanks

Look up reviews for Vision Motorworks. You'd be better off spending the money for parts from a well known company. I've seen a well known company's cam gear that wouldn't hold still once tightened, so I definitely wouldn't trust some generic cheap cam gear.

Personally, going all motor with a D is just a bad idea. If you have that much already, just save a little bit more and piece together a turbo kit. If you're dead set on all motor, I'd say scratch the vision gear (I've bought vision control arms and other stuff like that and it's poor quality) and get a used AEM gear. Also, don't forget a tune. Just throwing all that stuff at a D won't get you much without a tune.

I would go with a skunk2 (6 bolt design gear), or something like a Bisimoto if you have the money. I have no experience with an aftermarket timing belt. OE is fine IMO.
EDIT: AEM is fine, too. +1 to the tune.
