I am rebuilding my stock motor because it was smoking. I tore everything down and now i am in the process of looking for a kit. My question is how can I tell if the rod bearings and other parts are standard size or oversize. I am not sure whether or not it has been taken apart before.

By the way I know most of you guys dont like these engines but im trying to keep my car stock for gas mileage.

They're supposed to be color coded. That's what I've read anyway. never rebuilt an engine before.

Measure them. That's what I did when I rebuilt mine (D15B8 also).

so what should the standard size measure. Mine are 2.04 mm

Search (on the web) for a Factory Service Manual. It'll contain all the specs, diagrams, procedures, troubleshooting, etc. you can ever imagine for the entire car.
