Default Coolant Issues

Well I did a search and nothing there fit my problem. I replaces me Fast Idle Valve cause it was broken so now my car runs good and at a normal RPM but now I noticed my temp guage is sky rocketing after the engine warms up. The fan kicks on and I have coolant so hmmmm? Any suggestions?

air in the system...remove the cap and start it up, let it idle for a while, shut down + replace cap
that should get the air out
restart and test drive

if you "burp" it, just wrap some paper towels around the mouth to soak up what splashes out...refill the reservoir when done too
