clutch pedal problems on a 93 civic 4dr
ok heres the deal i put a new clutch in my car and the pedal does not feel that hard. and before i put the clutch in the pedal still did not have that much resistance. now after the install of the clutch i bleed the clutch and it only improved a little bit. now what could cause a weak pedal. someone told me i could adjust it under the dash but i have never heard of this. but i am still curious if it could be done

Re: clutch pedal problems on a 93 civic 4dr (street dreams)
I know of no adjustment under the dash, sound like you still have air in the lines. take some fuel line(clear) and run from the nipple of your slave cylinder into a clear jar and fill the bottom with some break fluid. have a friend pump your brakes and keep the fuid topped off. Pump til hard, hold, then release the nipple, tighten nipple then release pedal. do until no air bubbles come out and fluid coming out is clean and clear. should be fine then. Oh yeah new clutches can feel a little weird for the first 50 or so miles.
