so i was driving around earlier with one of my buddies messing around. my CEL came on after bringing it to red line. i turned off my car turned it back on the the CEL went away i brought it to red line again after it seemed fine and no CEL. should i worry or just forget about it?. i also wired in a vtec light bc i thought vtec wasnt engaging and the light dosnt turn on. i double checked my wring bc i thought it might be that but its right. its a d15b7 mini me z6 head. thanks in advance guys

Likely a misfire, did the CEL blink?
Could also be VTEC oil pressure sensor. Maybe you ran low on oil? Since it's already gone it's hard to say.

didnt notice it blink just looked down and saw it was on and got woried bc that thing never comes on even when ive had problems with the car.

i know my cars full on oil it was the first thing i checked. if its a random misfire should i worry? i probably have 500 miles on the plugs and wires.
