cat burned out again
Ok...trying to fix this once and for all. Got a 2k Si with only 19k on it. Have a 4-1 header on the car to a Powercore street high flow-cat back to the 5Zigen cat-back. Started up the car this morning and heard the honey comb filter bouncing around in the cat. This is the second time this has occured. Pissing me off. I'm obviously running rich. I just replaced the plugs about a week ago after pulling the car out of storage. Noticed the 1st plug was the most white and then on down to the plug 4th they looked more normal.
I'm gonna put my stock cat back on in the meantime.
What can I do to get this cat problem solved...blowing through these things just sucks. The first time it happened Honda said the car was running just fine. Second cat after the first was sent back for warranty claim purposes (product problem - honey comb broke apart).
Honey comb is all broken up again and I'm just plain sick of this issue.
Any help would be great!
