Default Car won't start unless I jump it.

Hey guys I got a 93 cx hatch and all the sudden the car won't start. I can get the car to turn on if I jump it (battery to starter) if I try turning it on normally it won't. You just hear a click from the starter relay and starter. The battery is good, I got a new starter, relay and ignition switch. The only thing I haven't replace is the key cylinder but I'm not sure if
That could be the problem. Any ideas?

Do you have a test light? Pull the wire off of the starter solenoid and have some one crank it so you can make sure your getting signal from the switch to the starter. Check and make sure the grommet for the clutch pedal switch hasn't fallen out either.

I don't need to step on my clutch pedal to start my car. The person fr whom I bought it from had bypassed it, also I check how much voltage was coming from my starter solenoid and I'm not getting the 12 volts and probably getting maybe 6 something.

I know it's good cause i checked it with my multimeter and I was getting 12.7 volts I also took it to autozone and had it checked by their machine and lastly my car starts fine when I jump start it.

Jump start it? Or jump the starter as in applying direct power to the starter? Because those are two entirely different things and you've said both.

check the bypass, mine is currently "bypassed" and by "bypassed" it has a twist tie shoved in it.

are all your connections tight at the starter?
are all your connections tight on the battery since you replaced it?
are all your grounds connected and not corroded?

when you turn the key to start does the solenoid click?

Obvious troll post.

OP, I would test the voltage at your ignition key cylinder. Check your grounds, especially the negative battery cable. Test voltage at all grounds. Its time to get out the 120 grit sandpaper.

My EG kept doing this, and battery tested fine so I took my battery out of my Integra and tried it. Fixed the problem.

My coil went bad and it would not start at all. Jumping it or not it would not start.
That day I changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, then found out it was the coil changed that and it started right up. So I doubt its the coil.
