Default can't pull codes

Cant pull codes, p28 chipped and yeah i have the right connector, anyone know?

what year is the car? have you tried to check the bulb in the cluster or even a code reader...autozone lets you borrwo them either obd1 or obd2 they have them for rent!! What method are you using to check your codes? https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1901557

sorry its a eg hatch, yeah the light works, it flashes once and stays on,

...any ideas where, what wires are they to the ecu,, apparently this car has had a piggyback system on it so there are some cut wires.

I just went through this yesterday. If you have a cel find that jumper and use a wire or pin to do the 'pin trick.' THe cel will flash and tell you what codes you have. If you do the pin trick and the cel is solid (doesn't flash) then you have a connection/hardware issue. Check and make sure EVERYTHING is connected properly. As far as wiring the only thing that I can think of doing is tell you to search the pinouts for your ECU.

If you have a DLC, there is a fuse that protects it under the hood.

its the same little pin you jump.

unlike a DLC on the obd2 cars.

if the ecu is solid you have a bad basemap, erase your eeprom, and re burn a map

okay running ls vtec and tried a p75 ran the car at a high idle same thing with the cel light
