can you put ctr pistons in a gsr or would you use type r?

Default can you put ctr pistons in a gsr or would you use type r?

im trying to find out if you can use the ctr piston in the gsr engine. or should i use type r pistons. also, if i change out the rod to a stronger one, would i get more torque? please i need this info...
