Can you fix the newer style main relay for the EG chassis?
when I first bought my EG hatch it wasnt running so I went and bought a brand new main relay from Honda because I thought was the main relay causing my car not to start. turns out it wasnt the relay so I put the brand new relay in almost a year ago and well today it went bad. It didnt want to switch the fuel pump on and well the car wouldnt start. So I swapped the old original relay in there and it started right up.
My question is can I repair this newer style relay myself and if so does anyone have a how to on it? I have heard of people fixing the old style ones.

my car intermitt. won't turn the fuel pump on, I thought it had something to do with the alarm, where is the relay located and how much did it cost you, I'm wondering if this is one of my issues. Its random sometimes it works great, than other times I have to fumble with it and finally I hear it prime and it fires right up and runs great all day.

Yeah that could very well be your main relay and its located right behind the fuse box under the dash. It has 7 wires goin to it and one 10mm bolt holding it under there. Dude you should do a search instead of ask me. There are alot of main relay threads.

By the way I didnt see any loose or so called dry joints or whatever it looks brand new. I know I could probably resolder them but not sure if thats whats wrong with it. Its the Mitsuba part# RZ-0159 and after taking it apart and messing with it a little I found that the 4V relay is slightly a bit loose but it isnt the soldered joints that are loose if you catch what Im saying. Other than that it looks brand new like I said.
