The d16z6 and is vtec while the d16y5 is non vtec. Other than that, its basically the same engine. You would probably get like 180 to the wheels with that engine I would guess, but I'm not into singles so I dunno.

If the body and interior is in good shape, I dont think that is a bad price.

You're not going to get 300whp from a d-series unless you boost da **** outta the engine. Then it will be neither reliable for DD or track racing...

Youcan make 300 hp, but as ke98248 said, your going to have to boost the **** out of it.. on a stock engine, its not gonna last.

What did you just say? The Y5 Has VTEC-E.

If you do it right it will last. Its when people start dickin around is when things go bad.
