Best chips?
Wuddup Fellas,
I'm in the market for an upgraded chip for my 93 si and have no clue what to look for. Does anyone know any good brands that I should keep an eye out for. What kind of efficiency am I lookin at getting with an upgraded chip?

Re: Best chips?
A "chip" will do nothing unless it is made for your exact engine AKA engine tuning
So unless its done on a dyno or atleast a street tune, more than likely it will kill your engine eventually.
Ps unless you have a built engine or at least more than bolt ons; stay away from "chips"
Plus you gotta have your ecu soldered or socketed which cost money or knowledge.

Re: Best chips?
to my understanding, the "chips" dont really make a difference, a chip is a chip. its the program that gets installed to it. chrome is very popular because its free, im getting crome myself. but there's also others like hondata and such that may cost a pretty penny for features as in car datalogging and what not... you can get any program to accept a stock basemap of a car with no tuning really at all. my buddy has a chipped ecu in his b16 and his car is bone stock... he just wanted to get a fuel cut 2 step lol.
