Jet performance chips
Would any have know if this this chip is worth buying. There website claims that you will gain a 9-11 at the wheels. Any advice would be appreciated.

Be careful here!
Basically your ECU is the same map for all cars with that type of engine/car and as all engines are slightly different it cannot be 100% for everyone (your engine could be stronger than normal or weaker). Manufacturer typically under tune for this reason - lowest common denominator. Chip companies get their performance gains because of this.
If the new chip comes with professional re-tuning for each car/engine e.g. UNI CHIP then great go ahead (I believe Jet do as well) else the chip will up the bhp by going outside of the manufacturer own parameters and if you have a weak engine it may be bye bye in a few years! But usually this is not a big problem if you use higher octane fuel then recommended and look after the engine well.
I would look for a performance tuning set up that uses a chip like Uni-chip that can be tailored for each vehicle/engine and do all other mods before getting the chip tuned e.g. air intake and exhaust etc. Chipping will only really gain but bhp on turbcharged/supercharged engines but it can remove 'black spots' in the torque curve by upping the fuel injected at these points to make the car more responsive (especially down low in the rev range).

thanks for the reply. Right now I have a intake, exhaust and later i'm planning to go FI. So as long as I take good care of the engine it will be fine.
