bad radiator? need some help!!
hey guys, i thought i would try posting in the civic forum instead of integra forum cause no one is really helping over there...anyways, heres whats going on...
My car(92 integra) over heated on christmas day. I then added more coolant and didn;t drive it for the rest of that day. then sunday, it warmed up fine and then i started driving and anytime i went above 5k the needle on the temp gauge went back towards cold and then when i let off or was idle it went back to normal. So me and a few other people said it sounded like my thermostat was sticking...
we replaced my thermostat this past monday evening. the car warmed up fine as usual. the top rad hose was hot but the lower one was stone cold. but whats weird was the heat still worked great through all of this and when i left and went out to drive again, the engine temp stayed normal. popped my hood when i got hoem and bottom rad hose was still stone cold but the top was very warm like it should be...
can anyone help me? we are now thinking that i have a bad radiator. maybes its clogged

well considering that i was in the mists of taking out my A/C, that i already went ahead and ordered a new OEM honda radiator and got a killer deal on it. so we were gonna take out all the ac **** and ac fan and put in the new rad and see how it goes. if this isn't the prob then it could lead to much worse things im afraid of
