Default B20 For $400

Are B20's any good? My buddy has a B20 engine for $400, but he says no VTAAACCCCCCC! How much would the swap from my D16 on 97 Civic Ex cost?

Any helpful information, and what else will I need to buy

Engine, tranny, ECU, Motor mounts, axles, shift linkage, a few other things. It wont cost much, just time consuming and labor.

Every answer to your question is located in the FAQ section at the top...If you can do the work yourself, it should be relatively inexpensive. If you can't, bring a tube of KY to the shop with you....

And it's Vtec not VTAC!

If it runs, doesn't blow smoke, doesn't have a quarter-million miles on it, doesn't have missing parts or otherwise need repairs, it's a fair price.

Haggle with him anyway.

I'm locking this because it's just turning into a pissing contest.
