Would you even have to replace your axles? Im curious, I plan on using a b20b/z short block later down the road.

I forget what exactly we changed on my buddys DA when we put a b20 in.

I think to put it in we had the b20 motor and swapped the b20s crank pully, Intake Manifold, header, fuel rail, injectors, and ecu with the b18 parts and one or 2 of the motor mounts (forget which ones). Other than that everything from the DA bolted up to the b20 motor IE; DA axels, wiring harness, parts you put on b20 motor, shift linkage, etc.

I may be missing one or two things, I would do a search. But it is a quick guide.

axles plug into your transmission...
So if you keep the same tranny, you keep the same axles.

For a turbo b20, depending on how much power you want to make, you may need to sleeve your block. The cylinder walls on a b20 are pretty thin, and can get fucked up pretty easy.

b20s are fun and have nice torque. It depends on what you want to do and how much money you have. You will be able to run 6-7 pds on the b20 and should not have any problems. Just make sure with either motor your get good tuning, that is the key.

Do one, and then come back and tell me.
After that, I'll be able to accurately tell you if it's worth it or not.

I believe that the b18 brackets and ps brackets will bolt up directly to the motor.

yeah, definitely.
A b20 is basically just a bored out LS engine, I think.

I dont think there are any extra things you have to do, but dont quote me on that.

Well I know for a fact we had to change the crank pully and 1 or 2 of the motor mounts. Plus the b20 has a taller IM that doesnt flow as good as a b18s. So most people change them and if you do you need to b18 fuel rail then.
