B16b into non vtec car questions???
ok so I have a 96 civic lx that im putting a b16b into. I got a d16y8 wiring harness and already have it connected to the motor outside of the car. I also have done the OBD2a to OBD1 conversion harness to my p28 with Hondata s300, but my question is will the y8 harness plugs plug directly into the plugs in the corners of the bay and vtec work just fine or will I have to still run the wires from ecu to vtec noid.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

The 96-00 Civic has a one piece engine harness. It doesn't plug into the shock towers like the older models. You should be good on the wiring for VTEC as it is identical plug style as the B16B. If you are using the P28 you will have a few sensor connectors left over that you won't use (CKF, knock).
