b16a engine... best tranny??
I have a DOHC del sol, engine came stock.. i blew my tranny and need a new one.. i'm thinking i should get one with lsd... which tranny is the best GSR? type R? i have a chance to get a 99 type R tranny from Japan for $800.. is that a good deal?

and the itr tranny (comes with lsd) is the best IMO

ok if you can get a type-r as said before for 800 then jump all over it. find out if you can get numerous ones for that price and i am sure you could probably find some guys to go in on a group deal with you. thats a steal. as said before the type-r comes with lsd, but id have to say for money if you cant get that then get a b16 and put lsd on it....reason being, the gears in the b16 tranny are closer to that of the type-r.
