Default Coolant Mix

How much do you mix your coolant with water??

50%? 70% of coolant??

It really depends on the climate you're in. For example, in Cali where we hardly see below 40 degrees in the winter and well over 90 degrees in the summer, its good to have 80-90% water and 10-20% coolant. For colder weather its better to have more coolant, but remember, its the water that does most of the cooling, the coolant keeps it from freezing and boiling.

Yea it depends on where you live at and how cold it gets.50/50 should be good though.

Just buy the Coolant bottles that are already mixed with water. 50/50. Its cheap, y0.

this is not a good idea because the water alone will deteroate(sp?) the aluminium.

like i said, i use water wetter. it has all the anti-corrosives that regular anti-freeze does.
